Dan offers fun, book-based sessions where kids listen, rhyme, draw, invent and explore the world of Kangamoo and the Not New Crew.
Sessions can include story time, interactive letter hunts, games, creative competitions and hands-on drawing activities where kids create their own mixed-up creatures.
Along the way, children explore how old things can be reused, repaired and reimagined through story, creativity and problem solving in a playful and empowering way.
Perfect for school visits, library story time, Book Week, sustainability days, school holiday programs, community events and creative workshops.
Sessions can be tailored to suit the age group, space and event.

Kangamoo and Crews’ 8-day holiday program at Noosa Civic was a great success - not only in the number of children it attracted, but also in the extended dwell time, high levels of engagement, and repeat visitation.
The activation’s “Fun-First” approach encouraged kids to get involved, with the striking characters sparking curiosity while also building awareness and sharing the reuse, repurpose and reimagine message. A perfect example of how to engage children in sustainability!
